Aquantum promotes sustainable investment initiatives in compliance with applicable environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) principles in accordance with its clients’ investment management mandates and is a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI).
As part of our investment, analysis and decision-making processes, we take into account the increased demand for suitable ESG-compliant investment alternatives in the area of exchange-traded derivatives. Our risk analysis and management processes address potential sustainability risks associated with our investment programs that may ultimately impact our business.
As a result of our comprehensive ESG impact and risk analysis of trading listed options and futures contracts as part of our investment programs, we currently assess our portfolio investment activity as ESG neutral, i.e., with no negative or positive impact on the ESG sustainability factors of the underlying asset, while providing additional liquidity to the exchange-traded options and futures markets.
Based on our research, we currently believe that the performance of our trading strategies and investment programs will not be negatively impacted by potential or actual ESG risks related to the underlying of the exchange-traded options and futures contracts we trade.
Aquantum’s employees’ compliance with the internal principles for the consideration and prevention of sustainability risks is an integral part of the assessment of performance-related compensation.
